Roxanne and Daniel are one of the couples that we met at our “You Said Yes!” event that we held at our studio last year. It’s amazing how we keep crossing paths with such great couples. They have been some of the most genuine and fun people we have had the chance to shoot in a long time.  We had so much fun exploring the Fullerton Arboretum, and Thousand Steps Beach with them, climbing some trees and jumping in the ocean. Check out their mini Trash The Dress at the bottom of the blog.  Can’t wait to shoot their wedding at Rancho Las Lomas in 2014!     – David

We love doing multiple looks and locations for engagement shoots and this was the perfect combination for Lindsey and Brian’s story – country boy meets California girl.  Lindsey was born and raised here but moved to Texas where she met Brian who was originally from Indiana.  Our first stop was the one and only Riley Wilderness Park.  Because of time constraints we were only able to go in the morning and the sun was out in full force, but thanks to some amazing off camera flash work and a ginormous reflector we were able to combat the harsh sunlight and make them look awesome.   We then headed down to Laguna Beach and the weather changed drastically!  The thick marine layer set in and it was hard to believe it was the same day.  We stopped in front of this spectacular gate in Table Rock for some dressy shots and Lindsey showing off her Louboutins before hiking down to Victoria Beach.  Due to strong currents and high tide we weren’t able to make it to our usual spot but were still able to capture some incredible images.  –Christina

For Michelle and Daniel’s engagement session we went to one of our favorite spots – Riley Wilderness Park in Coto de Caza.  We first did some romantic photos with the sunlight peeking through the trees and in the golden fields and then hiked up to our second location.  Michelle was a good sport to be hiking in her heels but it was worth it for the view!  We brought out some off camera lighting to create a dramatic look for the last few photos as the sun was setting behind the hills.  –Christina

Tommy and Martha had just moved here from Georgia when they contacted us to do their engagement photos at the beach.  We had recently stumbled upon this beautiful neighborhood in Laguna called Table Rock with steps leading down to a private cove and knew it would be the perfect spot.  They are a stunning couple and we had a lot of fun working with them.  Oh and if you are an Angels fan like me you might recognize Tommy as one of their starting pitchers 🙂  Here are a few favorites!  –Christina

We had the pleasure of meeting Samantha and Vlad at our fabulous You Said YES bridal event in March.  For their engagement session we first headed out to Los Rios District in San Juan Capistrano to get some fun shots around the town and found an beautiful open field to photograph them with the awesome red Mustang they pulled up in!  After a quick wardrobe change we made our way to our favorite spot in Laguna – Victoria Beach.  The tide was coming in but Samantha and Vlad were brave enough to venture out on the rocks and we were able to capture the gorgeous sunset with the waves crashing behind them.  Here are a few of our favorites!  –Christina

Ryan and Sandra are an amazing couple!  We had the pleasure of meeting them a year ago and since then we have photographed their engagement session, their gorgeous wedding, and now a trash the dress session.  We started off in downtown Laguna and after hearing a fire engine pull into the station we decided to see if we could get a photo with the truck.  Sandra worked her charm and the firemen were more than willing to let us use the truck!  Then we headed to Victoria Beach to catch the sunset and get down and dirty!  By the end of the session everyone was soaking wet and sandy, but we had a blast!

Darcy and Brad are getting married next April on Catalina Island so we started off the engagement session down by the Catalina Express terminal in Balboa.  After some fun shots we headed off to one of our favorite beaches in Laguna – Victoria Beach.  The sunset was amazing that night and we were able to capture all of the gorgeous colors in their photos.  We even got some pictures with their 4 month old puppy Buster!  Here is a glimpse into their engagement session!
